Weight Control

As a seasoned nutrition counselor I have developed a responsible clinical approach and with my nutritional counseling and support you can lose extra pounds, without affecting your metabolism and health.

My program focuses on two principles:

Primary food and Secondary food 

Primary food does not come on a plate, it's the things that feed your soul and nourish you in a way that impacts your ability to choose Secondary foods that are beneficial for you. Secondary foods are the foods that you eat and come on a plate. 

When we have blance and learn how to achieve balance in our primary foods, the choices that we make around the foods that we put on our plate are very different.

My sessions focus on 5 pillars of health and wellbeing:

nutrition, exercise, healthy lifestyle, eating habits and mental attitude.

​

To achieve a goal there must be a commitment on the part of the patient.

​

My goal is to guide you through a path in which you:

​

  • Eliminate the word "diet" from your mind.

  • Adopt regular eating habits.

  • Have an unrestricted, balanced and moderate diet.

  • Have a positive relationship with food and your body.

  • Learn to listen to your body and the cues of hunger and satiety.

  • Avoid emotional eating

WEIGHT LOSS PLANS

All of my plans are personalized. As a practitioner, I aim to find the method that best suits the patient's needs, goals, tastes and preferences.

​

You will receive weekly meal plan with Macros breakdown for the patient at each appointment, which will be adjusted in portions of food according to the results and goals.

It is important to work on changing habits, education is worked on at each appointment so that the results are long-term and there is no rebound effect.

I apply intermittent fasting plans, carb cycling, Keto or ketogenic diet, and incorporate all dietary theories and adjust as needed.

 

 

1,2,3 SHED

This is a nutritional  weightloss plan designed to burn body fat and accelerate your metabolism through detox.

The nutritional plan seeks to restore balance and equilibrium with your body and lifestyle.

The core of this program is structured around: nutrition, exercise, hormonal balance and cortisol reduction.

1,2,3 SHED seeks to have the patient lose body fat, not muscle or water.

You will not go on extreme diets, you will be satisfied and through my 17 years of practice has proven to not have a rebound effect and creates permanent weightloss.

This program has 3 stages to it, and each stage consists of 3 weekly appointments for a total 3 months. 

the succesful completion of one stage must be met before advancing to the next.

1:

  • The main objective is to achieve body fat loss, without losing muscle or water.

  • The phase consists of 3 nutrition consultations over 1 month.

  • It begins with a balanced weekly nutritional plan, low in carbohydrates, moderate in lean protein and high in vegetables.

  • The aim is to regulate blood glucose and insulin levels; altered insulin promotes the storage of body fat. In addition, insulin regulation helps to regulate other hormones.

  • In this first phase there is a detoxification of the body, so that the metabolism works efficiently and a greater loss of body fat is obtained.

2:

  • It consists of the transition stage between the initial nutritional plan and a normal eating pattern, where fruits and low-glycemic index carbohydrates begin to be included, which promote a lower release of insulin, and moderate physical activity is maintained.

  • It includes nutritional recommendations for social activities and eating out of home.

  • There are 3 appointments in 1 month.

3:

  • The objective of the last phase is to achieve the maintenance of weight loss and healthy eating habits.

  • 1,2,3 SHED allows you to reach your ideal weight in a short time, SHED body fat, in the most natural way possible, without extreme diets, stress or the addition of expensive supplements.

  • You learn to eat, and you will not go hungry or anxious, avoiding the rebound effect.

  • I design a weekly nutritional menu for the patient at each appointment, which will be adjusted in portions of food according to the results and goals.

  • Nutritional plan with the energy requirement, and list of portions adjusted to your plan.

  • List of exchanges and guide for eating out at restaurants.

  • List of healthy supermarket products.

  • Practical and healthy recipes for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinners.

  • Educational material to read at home.
